After you have confirmed the setup, you should see the email address configured in the settings.
- You can make your domain email the default sennding address so that all new emails are sent from your domain email.
- Consider changing the settings for “When replying to a message” to “Reply from the same address the message was sent to” so that emails sent to your domain email are not replied to from your Gmail address.
You will now be able to select your domain email as a from address when composing a new email in Gmail.
When you reply to an email forwarded into your Gmail account, the reply should automatically be set to reply from your domain email instead of your Gmail address.
Step 5: Send a test message
- Compose a new email in Gmail
- Ensure the From address is set to your custom domain email (e.g. user@yourdomain.com)
- Send an email to test@mailcast.io and we’ll send you an automated reply confirming everything is working correcty.
